Violent influence

A 5 track experimental ep (24m 49s) — released September 17th 2021 on Raash Records

More obscurities from Jerusalem's underbelly, raash records.
Debut release of Ido Mandil's solo project/counterpart - Rasham.
Five tracks naturally blending noisey, indstruial oriented patterns with folkish outsider work songs.Opening with a chilling apathetic drone, quickly pivoting to a brutal grinding of machines, strings ,gritty vocals and tired limbs.
Or, simply a memoir of a man being digested by a city.

Good for lovers of Spk, the Bugger, Test Dept and Esplendor Geometrico

He lives in the center of town.

An ancient bottleneck pouring hostility and messianic fanaticism into the streets, having done so for millennia.Regardless of their birthplace, Jerusalem's inhabitants eventually fall into a similar kind of trance, usually forgetting their way out.

Years of serving at local bars witnessing all that blends in the gutter,
roaming the city aimlessly and recording it for countless hours, his surroundings started to glue themselves together in his head.
Rasham is a sonic imprint of this profound violence and oddity.

Over the course of nearly twenty five minutes the listener is pulled through a dense mixture of industrial soundscapes, distorted tribalism and never ending strife.
